Photography by Nina Pak

Thank you for joining us for an evening of art and conversation at the opening event to Nina Pak's exhibition on Friday,  April 16th.

It was an evening where we all came together to celebrate the work of a spirited artist, enjoying the beauty of Nina's art and the company of artists and artisans.

Artists Statement

I am deeply moved by the symbolism in nature and the four elements. I have a fascination with the mystical and ancient history, these largely shape my internal process. The element of mystery prevails in my work.

My creative process is a life long search using the language of art to explore the depth of the enigma called life. For me this is a metaphysical exploration.

I work in many media. Currently I use digital photography which is layered in Photoshop to give the images depth and texture. I also love mixed-media painting and have a background in painting and printmaking. I have worked as a design editor for an arts and cultural magazine printed in Moscow Russia, was the curator for the Glendale Arts Council. My creative interests include hand-made books, visual journals, collaborative art books, design & layout, fabric arts, jewelry design and fabrication, ceramics. Other creative endeavors include writing, sound compositions & music.

Art in all forms fills my life with beauty. I am grateful to have the ability to touch the mystery, and express it in so many ways.
